Purpose: It is designed as a quick reference for nursing students and as an excellent supplement to nursing textbooks.
Audience: It is intended for adult learners in a nursing curriculum.
Features: The book provides a synopsis of all the pertinent skills to be learned throughout a nursing curriculum. Each skill is presented with step-by-step interpretations and pictures to supplement the skill, and integrates the nursing process. The nursing process is a concept students struggle with, so this was a wonderful addition.
